‘Independence Day 2’ and ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Wrap Up Filming!

2 blockbuster movies finished up production this last weekend!

[dropcap size=small]A[/dropcap]s this summer comes to a close, we can look the movies that will be coming out next summer and just wish we could skip fall, winter and spring so we can see them! According to their respective directors, two of these movies just finished up production.

Director Bryan Singer revealed on Instagram that X-Men: Apocalypse is officially wrapped up. While Singer did say that there still some more shooting to do with the second unit, the wrap-up party has already begun. Singer’s second picture on Instagram shows the Apocalypse set itself.

Around the same time, Director Roland Emmerich announced that Independence Day 2: Resurgence has also wrapped up with production. Both announcements follow recent news of Captain America: Civil War completing all of their shooting not too long ago.

Starting next summer, all three of these movies will be out in theaters. Captain America: Civil War will be released on May 6th, then X-Men: Apocalypse on May 27th and Independence Day: Resurgence on June 24th!
