So Superman wants to be James Bond? Seems like a step down but I won’t be the one to tell him.
[dropcap size=small]H[/dropcap]enry Cavill recently revealed on the Graham Norton Show that he had an interest in becoming the new James Bond. “I’m very busy with the Superman stuff, but if there were any windows and they wanted me to do that kind of role, it would be great. I would love to do it,” said Cavill.
Henry Cavill is best known for his role as Superman in Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice and Man of Steel. I think Henry Cavill would do a good job as James Bond. He has already played a spy in The Man from UNCLE and he has an air about him that I think makes him a good fit for the role. Not to mention he is a good looking guy who has already shown that he can thrive in the role of a beloved character.
Also in the mix to become the new James Bond is Tom Hiddleston. In past interviews Hiddleston has expressed his interest to play James Bond. He has also played a spy for his role in The Night Manager. Hiddleston would also be a good choice for many of the same reasons as Cavill. Hiddleston is not as big and bulky as Cavill but I feel that he could play a more cerebral Bond compared to a Cavill type Bond. Since both are British actors it would make sense for them both to play to James Bond.
