The past couple of years have been huge in the Korean entertainment industry. From the music by KPOP sensations BTS to the critically acclaimed Academy Award-winning Parasite, Steven Yeun and everything he does, and most recently, Squid Game. With all that and more gaining traction worldwide, there seems to be a demand for more Korean thrillers, chillers, dramas, and more. Enter Netflix’s Hellbound.

Hellbound’s final trailer has us pretty excited about what the film will entail and not just from the plot perspective. The movie comes from director Yeon Sang-Ho, the guy behind that awesome zombie flick, Train to Busan. Now Sang-Ho takes aim at the sinful in this new horror/thriller which sees demonic creatures dragging the damned to hell. Take a look:

With the monsters appearing before the public eye and doing the deed of passing judgment in a horrific way, groups of sycophants and cult worshippers develop and yeah, all hell breaks loose. Literally.

There is certainly a lot more going on in the trailer and the plot sounds incredibly interesting. And considering how well Netflix is handling Korean properties lately, we feel safe to have our hopes up that Hellbound is going to be one hell of a time.

Hellbound comes exclusively to Netflix on November 19th.
