Showtime’s official Twitter account has revealed that Pablo Schreiber (Mad Sweeney on American Gods) will wear the iconic Spartan armor and take on the role as the super solider who fights the Covenant.

The Halo series will loosely follow the original Combat Evolved storyline, with a nine-episode order. No air date has been set for the series.
