Warner Bros.’ Kaijuniverse sees some delays
[dropcap size=small]F[/dropcap]ans of the giant lizard will now have to wait an extra 9 month to see the king return to the big screen in all his scaly glory in Godzilla 2, which in now set for a March 22nd, 2019 release date instead of June 8th, 2018 as originally planned. Following Godzilla 2 will be a remake of the kaiju classic : Godzilla vs. King King set to be released on May 19th, 2020.
Audiences will still be able to get a look into the Godzilla cinematic universe in 2017 with Kong : Skull Island, a King Kong adaptation that will honor the foundations of the story’s lore directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts. Those anticipating monster movies won’t be disappointed as Pacific Rim 2 will hit theaters the following year in 2018.
