‘Ghost in the Shell’ Live-Action Movie gets Five (Very Short) Teaser Trailers

Got 50 seconds to spare?

[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]he much-talked about upcoming live-action adaptation of Masamune Shirow’s Ghost in the Shell – starring Scarlett Johansson in the lead role of Motoko Kusanagi (simply known as The Major in this version) – has just dropped it’s first official teaser trailers.

Breaking away from the traditional one minute teaser trailer we usually see for new titles, Paramount really are teasing us by releasing five separate little trailers with a run-time of just 10-15 seconds a piece.

Each trailer gives us a very brief glimpse of the new film, in which we can see Johnasson and a select few other members of Section 9 in action.

Check them out below:

Aside from some leaked promotional photos of the cast as Section 9 which surfaced on Asian sites last month, this is the first proper look we’ve had of the film since it was announced a few years ago.

The live-action Ghost in the Shell is expected to release 31 March, 2017.
