Gamescom 2022 kicked off its opening night on Tuesday, covering a handful of really interesting titles. From Goat Simulator 3 to The Callisto Protocol, the annual expo held in Germany definitely showed a little something for everyone.
Perhaps the most unexpected and unusual title is that of Killer Klowns From Outer Space The Game, a “craazzy new take on multiplayer horror.” Take a look at the trailer below:
The game is coming from the executive director of Friday the 13th: The Game, another multiplayer horror title that has gained fairly-positive reviews and a healthy playerbase. We assume that Killer Klowns will follow suit in style and substance a la killers vs survivors but with more variety. With multiple Klowns to choose from, a new location, and a variety of weapons to choose from, Killer Klowns From Outer Space might play and feel more diverse than Friday the 13th.
Killer Klowns From Outer Space has not been given a specific release date as of yet but the game will come some time in 2023 for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, as well as PC PC.
