HBO has been eyeing many differing shows set in the Game of Thrones universe and the streaming service finally expanded the franchise when they gave House of Dragons the green light to begin production back in October of 2019. But now it looks like the streaming service is considering an ‘adult’ animated series.
According to the Hollywood Reporter’s multiple sources, HBO Maxs has been meeting with writers for the adult-leaning project. The animated series will have a similar tone to Game of Thrones and will take place in the same universe. Other than that there are sadly, no further details.
