[dropcap=small]F[/dropcap]ortune magazine recently published its ‘Top 100 Companies to Work For’ list. Riot Games, best known for League of Legends, and Activision Blizzard, best known for Call of Duty and World of Warcraft, made the list. Riot Games was ranked number 39 and Activision Blizzard was ranked number 78. Both companies released statements that said saying that were very proud of the recognition and that it meant a lot to them. The company that topped the list was Google, for it’s seventh time atop the list.
It’s good to see gaming companies getting recognition like this. The companies work hard to create fantastic products that I think are sometimes underrated by more mainstream media. So to see a huge company like Forbes put them in their magazine is a huge accomplishment, not only for the companies, but for the industry as a whole.
