New Justice League photo Shows Flash joining Batman, Wonder Woman

The latest set photo gets a clean look at three core heroes in DC’s upcoming Justice League film.

Between Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, DC’s attempts at establishing a shared universe film are struggling to reach higher than 27% approval among fans and critics alike, although the former is a little more optimistic. That in mind, the upcoming Justice League film, which follows Wonder Woman (June 2, 2017), sees the inclusion of many of the core Justice Leaguers (minus Green Lantern among others).

With rumors circulating that Wonder Woman is running into trouble, and other rumors suggesting that Megan Fox is being considered for the role of Poison Ivy in Gotham City Sirens, fans are starting to wonder whether or not the minds at work behind the DC film universe will ever get on the right track. Well, if one thing we know of is for sure, it’s that Justice League is a monumental task, not unlike The Avengers, and perhaps even more so considering the amount of members it holds.

Flash, Batman, and WW, as seen below, are just a few faces we are expected to see in the upcoming film, with the likes of Superman and Cyborg and hints at future members joining in later films. The promo image from EW shows a pretty illuminating look into the characters uniforms, and gives a decent view of Flash, who we have seen the least of in all of the DC films combined.

Flash, Batman, and WW stare off in the distance hoping to see a positive review from critics.

While we have yet to experience Wonder Woman in her own solo movie, and future plans being revealed almost daily regarding details of the next film entries in the series, we are very optimistic about the future of the DC Cinematic Universe. I mean, how many poorly-received films can there be?

Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder and stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Ray Fisher, Gal Gadot, Ciarán Hinds (as Steppenwolf), Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, J.K. Simmons, Jesse Eisenberg, Amy Adams, Willem Dafoe, Amber Heard, and Jeremy Irons. The film comes out on November 17, 2017.
