The teaser trailer for the first Star Wars Anthology film, Rogue One, has arrived.

Set before the events of A New Hope, the film follows Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), a young smuggler tasked with stealing the Death Star plans for the emerging Rebellion.
Besides Jones, the cast includes Ben Mendelshon, Riz Ahmed, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Forest Whitaker, Alan Tudyk, Mads Mikkelsen…
And Mon Mothma!
Gareth Edwards (Godzilla) is directing the film.
While clearly having a more serious tone than The Force Awakens, everything in this trailer still looks like Star Wars, and we’re super excited to see how the first spinoff film stacks up.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on December 16.
