J.K. Rowling invites you to return to the wizarding world!
[dropcap size=small]A[/dropcap] few days ago Warner Bros. Pictures promised us a teaser trailer for the upcoming Harry Potter Spin-off, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and boy did they deliver.
With an atmospheric intro, character glances, and a short tease of what’s to come, this J.K. Rowling Spin-off looks set to be a fantastic continuation of the franchise – with a strong cast and premise driving Rowling’s original creation in the right direction.
The period costume and set design already look impeccable from the few glimpses we’ve gotten in the trailer, and alongside the sophisticated-looking special effects with the usual magical flare, it’s sure to be a delight for the eyes.
We also saw some reveals of the impressive cast line-up, with a quick show of Colin Farrel among others.
The film will take place 70 years prior to Harry’s day, and will follow the pursuits of Newt Scamander, Magizoologist and writer of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which is a textbook Harry uses at Hogwarts.
I think it’s time to start getting excited, Rowling fans!
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is due out in theatres 18 November, 2016.
