First Order Stormtrooper Skin Free in Fortnite by Linking MyDisney Account

All you have to do is connect your Epic Games account with your MyDisney account. Yes, apparently you have one of those now. Why? Because Mickey Mouse wants to make sure you’re logged in while you yeet some Sith-wannabe off a digital cliff.

Here is what you need to know:

You can create a MyDisney account directly from https://My.Disney.com if you don’t have one or you can simply use any existing (and eligible) Disney account such as your Disney+ login, or your ESPN or Hulu logins (yes, both are owned by the Mouse).

NOTE: We did have trouble logging into Epic Games with our Disney+ account at first when trying to link the accounts, so we ended up going to My.Disney.com first, logging in there with our Disney+ account, and BAM, our MyDisney account was created. Then we went back to the Epic Games login, and then it let us use our Disney+ account to login. Took less than 4 minutes total.

Here’s what you get once you connect your accounts:

• The First Order Stormtrooper Outfit, complete with both a Fortnite Style and a LEGO® Style. That’s right — two ways to miss your shots in style.

• The ability to sign into your Epic account with your MyDisney account, because synergy is the new Force.

• A mysterious promise that “this is just the start of something big,” which definitely doesn’t sound like the opening line to a Disney villain monologue.

Here is what you don’t get:

• Back Bling, Pickaxe, Glider, or anything else. You just get the skin and LEGO style.

You’ve got to do all this before August 31 at 12 AM ET — because even evil empires run on deadlines. But that should be plenty of time. Just don’t forget. Also, fair warning: You can only link one MyDisney account per Epic account.

Oh, and if you’re not seeing the connection option, you might live in one of those “ineligible areas,” which sounds like something Palpatine would say before liberating your home planet with a giant energy beam straight from the Death Star.

TL;DR? Here’s what to do:

1. Sign in to your Epic account at epicgames.com/id/login.

2. Go to your Account page, then to Apps and Accounts.

3. Click “Connect” next to the MyDisney option and follow the prompts.

4. Boom. You’re now one step closer to joining the Empire.
