Producer Michael Bay unveils Arrow star Stephen Amell as the hockey stick wielding Casey Jones in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2.
[dropcap size=small]H[/dropcap]e’s learned how to master hand-to-hand combat, how to shoot his bow and arrows with deadly accuracy, and on top of all of that he is the next Ra’s al Ghul. That being said, learning to fight ninjas with hockey sticks shouldn’t be too much work for Stephen Amell, right?
Stephen Amell seems to be fitting the role of Casey Jones quite well from the looks of the photo above. Michael Bay released the photo online via Twitter with a tweet that said, “Stephen Amell as Casey Jones”. No one is sure if that will be his entire costume for the film or not, but he does have his signature hockey mask and hockey stick. Mr. Amell will be joining Megan Fox, who is returning as April O’Neil, in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. Also, Oscar nominee Laura Linney has joined the cast as well. What specific role Laura Lineey will be playing in the film has yet to be announced. For now, it’s anyone’s guess what the plot for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is.
