During an interview with ComicBook.com, Eastwood stated his dream role is to play Weapon X.
“I mean, Logan! You gotta give it to Wolverine! Wolverine, all day.” –Scott Eastwood
Logan’s last appearance was in his standalone “Logan” film, which followed an older, dying Logan in a distant future where nearly all mutants were dead. Prior to that, Logan showed up in a surprise action sequence during a climactic point in X-Men: Apocalypse. No telling just when Logan will show up again in the X-Men universe, or to which actor will step up to the role. As for the franchise of X-Men films themselves, 2018 is jam packed full of huge titles such as New Mutants, Deadpool 2, and Dark Phoenix with X-Force coming shortly after that, possibly in 2019.
