At least we can expect the animated DC films to be decent.
[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]he next chapter in the animated Batman series continues with a brand new animated film written by Bruce Timm (Batman: The Dark Knight Returns) and directed by Sam Liu (Batman: The Killing Joke). The film centers around both Harley and the caped crusader but also introduces a hero we haven’t seen in quite a long time, Nightwing.
After the film debuts, there will be a panel and discussion among available members of the core cast and filmmaking team. This includes Kevin Conroy as Batman, Melissa Raunch as Harley, Loren Lester as Nightwing, Paget Brewster as Poison Ivy, and Kevin Michael Richardson as Jason Woodrue.
However, if you’re not able to make it to SDCC to see Batman and Harley Quinn don’t freak out just yet.. The animated film arrives August 29th as an Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack ($44.98), Blu-ray Deluxe Gift-set ($39.99) which includes an exclusive Harley Quinn figurine, a Blu-ray Combo Pack ($24.98); and DVD ($19.98). Batman and Harley Quinn comes to Digital ($19.99 HD, $14.99 SD) on August 15th.
