Bungie was quick to act after a gamer pointed out how a new logo design for in-game armor represented that of a notorious hate symbol.
Destiny 2 just came out and fans have been enjoying the grind. However, one game noticed an unusual design on the arm of a specific armor set available for the Hunter, one of the available playable classes.

At a glance, this may not look like much more than a unique design to accent the style of the frabulous (yes, we spelled that correctly) Hunter. That said, one player recognize a strange similarity to that of a Kekistan Flag, something that is a slight deviation away from the swastika.

Although we wont show it here, the similarity is uncanny. For most people, noticing how closely the style of Bungie’s design resembles the hate symbol would likely have been a pretty slim chance. But with one person noticing and all that which has been in the news lately regarding hate and nationalists, they were fast to respond and faster to issue a Hot Fix that addressed a few unrelated issues as well as altering the logo so it would not be sharing a same artistic style.
Good on you, Bungie. We commend your swift actions.
Destiny 2 is out now for Xbox One and PS4.
