It’s hard to keep a good man down.

[dropcap size=small]A[/dropcap]fter the announcement of the sequel to Kingsman: The Secret Service, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, fans have been speculating whether or not Harry Hart, Colin Firth’s character in Kingsmen who was killed off in the first movie, would be returning in some fashion for the sequel. Well speculate no more! Colin Firth has been added to the cast of The Golden Circle and in an interview with Collider he gave a few details about what to expect, and not to expect, from the sequel.

“From what I’ve been able to gather, it’s not going to feel like a conventional sequel. It’s going to be something that feels very much its own thing. I’m very optimistic about it. I can’t give too much away about in what capacity I’m back. A lot of people have speculated and a lot of people have come to the wrong conclusions about it. I want to keep the surprise alive, a little longer. I think they’re going to be surprised again.”

This seems like an interesting point going forward. What exactly will the sequel look like? Will there be flashbacks including Firth or will he return from the dead? There are so many questions and not enough answers. Add on the cryptic tweet from Kingsmen star Taron Egerton, seen below, and there is just no telling what is going on.

While there are certainly some crazy fan theories running wild right now, some may not seem so crazy now. Once a trailer is released we may get more information about what is going on with Harry Hart. Until then all we can do is sit with our tin-foil hats on theorizing about his return.

Kingsmen: The Golden Circle is set to hit theaters June 16, 2017.
