A mishap in an Ohio movie theatre left children in a theatre watching Insidious 3 instead of Disney Pixar’s Inside Out.

[dropcap size=small]I[/dropcap]t’s been a great few weeks for the box office with ticket sales at an all time high. Two of the current box office titles start with the same first 5 letters. Those two movies however have extremely different genres and audiences. It would be a shame if those two movies got mistaken for each other up in the projection booth. Especially when one of the movies is a Disney Pixar box office hit for children and the other is an adult horror film.
Both Insidious 3 and Inside out have been in theaters for a while now. A movie theatre in Ohio had both of these movies playing at the same time this past week, both with a decent amount of popularity. Unfortunately, a theatre full of children got an unexpected treat when Insidious 3 came up on screen instead of the animated Disney Pixar film.
A parent of the children, Jazmyn Moore, was in the theatre for the mishap and claimed that before they could pull their kids out of the theatre, the damage had already been done. The opening scene of the movie is said to have images of children being tied up and murdered. Not exactly an ideal scene for a group of children who expected an animated Pixar film.
The viewers received full refunds as well as upgraded tickets because of the theatre’s mistake. Disney Pixar’s Inside Out and Insidious are both still in theaters with Inside Out remaining at the top of the box office.
