Have you ever wondered what a TIE Fighter-centric Star Wars film would look like in the style of classic Japanese Anime?
[dropcap size=small]W[/dropcap]ell, wonder no-more. Check out the short film by Paul Johnson, who created the art, animation, and story over “4 years’ worth of weekends”. Based on the classic TIE Fighter computer game, the end result is definitely something to behold.
Johnson also released a poster for his short film, which is just about as cool as the film itself!
Even with such an incredible end product, Johnson isn’t looking for any sort of funding, writing:
“Don’t support me on Patreon, because I don’t have one! And don’t donate to my Kickstarter, because I don’t have one of those either. Instead, if you enjoyed this, give someone at your workplace, uni, school or whatever a random bar of chocolate or can or Coke or something. Seriously, it’ll probably make their day. That would totally make my day.”
Bravo, Paul! Bravo!
