Tom Cruise shows sneak peek of the upcoming Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation at CinemaCon.
[dropcap size=small]S[/dropcap]uper star Tom Cruise couldn’t wait any longer to give us a little look at Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, and at CinemaCon he gave us a little taste. The scene depicts Cruise’s character, Ethan Hunt, in the custody of a master torturer named “The Bone Doctor.” With the help of Rebecca Ferguson, Hunt breaks a few arms, kicks the crap out of a few guards, and escapes perfectly without breaking a sweat.
After that Cruise took the audience on a behind the scene look of the famous plan stunt shown in the first trailer for the movie.
“I’m an aerobatics pilot and thought, I’ve always wanted to do that.”
The actor had to have a special pair of glasses made for him to protect his eyes from the high wind speeds. Wind speed wasn’t the only danger Tom faced; birds, jet fuel fumes, and freezing temperatures were obstacles that the actor had to overcome.

Rob Moore, from Paramount, is very impressed with the commitment to realism that Cruise has. “Most people’s first reaction is it must be green-screen or CGI, but he’s really up there doing those things” says Rob Moore.
Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation starring Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, and Rebecca Ferguson will hit theaters July 31.
