Battlefield Hardline has the right idea of “The American Dream”, and has an unusual Easter egg on one of its maps.
[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]he new Battlefield: Hardline has a few different vehicles now that it’s more of a cop-vs-robber game and not so much of a military-focused game. Police cruisers and other vehicles that you might expect will be present, but Hardline threw in a very weird thing to drive: a couch.
Hardline allows players to drive around on a couch called The American Dream. It allows for four players to ride around on what is the fastest vehicle in the game. While driving, you may kill someone by running them over just like any other vehicle, but the only difference is that when you do with the sofa, the kill feed lists the killing weapon as “MERICA.”
The American Dream can be found in Hotwire mode on the Dust Bowl map. It spawns in one of several different locations, but once it’s been destroyed, it’s gone until the next game begins.
No news as to when the DLC to trick out the couch will be out, but we hope soon. Battlefield: Hardline is out now for the Xbox one, Xbox 360, Playstation 4, Playstation 3, and PC.
