Revisit the Arkham series this July
[dropcap size=small]W[/dropcap]arner Bros. Games recently announced that it would be re-releasing two of Rocksteady’s critically acclaimed Batman games. Batman : Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City will be getting a re-masterization treatment form Virtuos, the studio that previously ported Final Fantasy X and X-2 and Heavy Rain to the PlayStation 4.
The bundle will be made available on July 29th for just $49.99. Both games in the bundle will include all the downloadable content ever released. The trailer does a great job at showing off the games’ graphical updates and it’s cut together pretty well. It doesn’t forget to remind you that these are “The greatest superhero games of all time”.
Virtuos has also upgraded the games’ engines from the Unreal Engine 3 to the Unreal Engine 4, resulting in some pretty sweet looking visuals. The bundle is set to hit shelves a week before the release of the new R-rated Batman animated film: Batman: the Killing Joke, which just so happens to feature the same voice cast as the Arkham games.
