[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]he 501st Legion Twitter page shared some especially intriguing photos earlier this week of what appears to be a new look for the villainous stormtroopers in the upcoming Star Wars Episode VII. Take a look at the photos below.

Though we can’t confirm the legitimacy of the photos, they do look pretty real to us. Plus, the guys over at 501st take their Stormtroopin’ seriously, so we sincerely doubt they would intentionally post this knowing they were fake. Rumors have been circling for a while now on the stormtroopers’ redesign based on some concept art that allegedly leaked a while back, so this certainly does seem plausible.
