[dropcap size=small]B[/dropcap]ack in March, Travis Knight agreed to direct a Bumblebee spin-off movie. A fan-made site may have revealed the logo for the spin-off movie.
This is the first spin-off movie in the Transformer-movie history. This will be Knight’s first in directing a live-action movie, as opposed to his previous work that included Kubo and the Two Strings, Coraline and ParaNorman.
Although this is the only spin-off that is officially in the works, other projects were presented last year and more could be on the way. Producer Stephen Spielberg saw potential in five out of nine projects with potential to get a spin-off movie that were created in the writers’ room.
Transformers has been one of the most recognized movie franchises in the modern era. The last four movies alone have netted an incredible $3 billion worldwide at the box office. Transformers: The Last Knight will be released to theaters on June 23rd.
The Bumblebee spin-off movie is set to be released sometime in 2018!
