THE INTERVIEW
After the television premiere of their 1000th episode of “Skylark Tonight,” a celebrity tabloid show, the interview team comprised of producer Seth Rogen and interviewer James Franco are approached by the CIA to interview Kim Jung-Un. Oh and they have to kill him too. The goofy duo then goes on an R-rated journey to North Korea to shove things up their asses and get the job done.
The Interview stars Seth Rogen, James Franco, Randall Park, Lizzy Caplan. Written by Evan Goldberg, Seth Rogen, and Dan Sterling. Directed by Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen. In theaters December 25.
KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE
Based on the comic book by Mark Miller, Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass, X-Men: First Class) takes us into the world of an ultra-secret spy agency. When the agency training program gets underway, a promising kid from the streets is given the opportunity to become a part of the team. While the action looks cool and modernized, the plot sounds a lot like Men In Black minus the aliens, to me. I’ll still go see it though, I mean come on, it’s Mark Miller and Matthew Vaughn.
Kingsman: The Secret Service stars Samuel L. Jackson, Colin Firth, Mark Hamill, Mark Strong, Jack Davenport, and Michael Caine. Written by Jane Goldman, Matthew Vaughn, Mark Miller, and Dave Gibbons. Directed by Matthew Vaughn. In theaters February 13.
