Remakes lately have been crushing it with review scores among critics and fans alike. The latest with Dead Space breathed new life into a once-thought-abandoned franchise while Capcom and their teams are working to re-establish a strong grasp on their thriving Resident Evil series. The remake of Resident Evil 2 was met with widespread acclaim while the remake of RE3 was met with more unfavorable reviews by some, due to being too short and having little replay value. And now, it appears that Capcom has once again found and applied the formula for success in remaking what many consider the most beloved and greatest entry in the franchise.
The remake Resident Evil 4 releases on all major gaming platforms this week, on Friday the 24th, to be exact, and early reviews of the game are near perfect from almost every critic out there. In fact, everyone seems to agree that in every possible way, this remake is better than the original. And we could not be more excited than ever to get our hands on it.
