Over the weekend, Marvel Studios released a brand-new trailer for the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The trailer, which you can watch below, has a whole different tone and feel from the previous films in the franchise as it appears Vol. 3 wants to tug at our heartstrings, and for good reason. We may be saying goodbye to one or more members of the Guardians. Take a look:
Quill himself poses the question: “Are you ready, for one last ride?” While some of the CGI characters are likely to stick around for obvious reasons, the live-action cast will likely see a decline in its roster, the most probably of all departures being Drax. However, if the Christmas special is any indication, the future of Mantis remains questionable as well.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 comes to theaters on May 5th, 2023. Get your handkerchiefs ready, folks.
