[dropcap size=small]P[/dropcap]ark explains that he has not yet received the go-ahead to post a higher resolution version of his work from the powers at be from Marvel, so for now we just have to deal with the low-res image you see above. The costume, which is pretty accurate from the source material, is still pretty clear to the eye, despite the lower resolution.
Details of the upcoming Captain Marvel film first came to light during this years SDCC, where it was revealed that the film would take place in the 1990’s with Samuel L Jackson reprising his role as Nick Fury, while featuring the Skrulls as the major enemy.

Fans have taken this news and built major speculation around the theory that perhaps Nick Fury will have both eyes intact, possibly losing one during the Captain Marvel’s climax, but nothing has been confirmed by any authority on any side of the film’s production.
Captain Marvel is set to release in 2019 and stars Brie Larson and Samuel L Jackson.
