Bandai-Namco’s Pre-Order page for Dragon Ball FighterZ is live, revealing the price and a place-holder release date.
Not long until we receive access to the closed Beta for Dragon Ball FighterZ, however you can still pre-order the game for both XBO and PS4 as seen below.
.
Fans were expecting, or at least hoping the price of the game would be somewhere between $20 – $40 USD, which suggests that the community was expecting anything but a full fledged game featuring the most iconic Dragon Ball heroes and villains. With a full-game price tag revealed, this could suggest that perhaps we may be getting a lot more game and bang for our buck so to speak. As to what that could entail, we just dont know. But having played the game first hand, we can tell you now that the price is more of a relief, rather than a let down. Anything less than $60 USd would likely come across like this is simply a mini game, and not a full Dragon Ball fighting experience.
Love it or hate it, the price is likely to stay, though the screenshot of the pre-order page would likely only have a place-holder for the release date, as the game is expected to release in the beginning of 2018 with the closed Beta being available toward the end of the summer. The pre-order page shows a release of 12/31/2018, which couldnt possibly be accurate, considering Bandai-Namco’s claims and trailer footage featuring a release date in the first quarter of next year.
