The first official trailer for Marvel’s The Defenders is finally here and there is only one word that comes to mind: wow. Featuring Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and the Iron Fist, the four not-your-ordinary-superheroes will team up to take down the Hand and a mysterious character played by Sigourney Weaver to save the city that never sleeps. The Defenders will finally tie together four stories across five seasons of epicness (okay, Iron Fist wasn’t that epic but you get my point). Although only eight episodes long it wouldn’t be too crazy to assume that every episode will be better than the last. August 18th can’t come soon enough.
