Marvel Television has officially released the first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. Because apparently, after successfully resurrecting Matt Murdock’s corner of the universe, the studio decided it was time to dig even deeper into the Netflix Marvel nostalgia vault and pull out a fan-favorite.
Yes. Jessica Jones is back.
Krysten Ritter’s return as the hard-drinking, foul-mouthed private investigator has already sent fans into a collective emotional spiral, largely because Jessica Jones remains one of the most beloved characters from Marvel’s Netflix era. For years, viewers have argued that Ritter’s take on the character was lightning in a bottle, and Marvel has now chosen peace by letting her once again wear the leather jacket and emotional baggage.
This reveal also further cements what many fans have been hoping for since Disney began slowly reassembling these characters: the Netflix Marvel shows are no longer the weird cousins nobody talks about at family gatherings. They are officially part of the MCU. Every hallway fight, moral crisis, and existential breakdown now lives comfortably inside Marvel canon, and all of those series are available to stream on Disney Plus.
Even Iron Fist. But we don’t talk about that.
Marvel Television has confirmed that Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 premieres on March 24, meaning the countdown to seeing Matt Murdock and Jessica Jones exist in the same officially sanctioned Marvel timeline has officially begun. Fans are excited. Nostalgia is thriving.
Sometimes, the multiverse does get things right.
