Holy screen time Batman, that’s a long movie.
[dropcap size=small]W[/dropcap]hen taking into account everything that will supposedly happen in the film, it doesn’t seem that surprising that Justice League could nearly 3 hours long. According to IMDB, (International Movie Database) the film is to be a grand total of 2 hours and 50 minutes long. However, you shouldn’t completely believe everything that has been posted to IMDB since the website is notorious for changing several facts about a film leading up to and after its release.
Director Zack Snyder has several months to cut and edit the film before it is released in theaters in November. This means everything that will take place in the film, from Bruce Wayne searching the globe for the metahumans and assembling them into a function teaming to the resurrection of Superman has to be done in an adequate amount of time. Let’s not forget that the Justice League still has to fight whomever it is they’re fighting and that character has to be introduced as well.
Considering many fans and critics felt Batman v Superman was rushed with not much character development, we can hope that Zack Snyder learned from his mistake and that is why Justice League is supposedly going to be such a long film.
Justice League will open in theaters on November 17.
