Say it with me: SH!T JUST GOT REAL!
Joe Carnahan is no longer directing Bad Boys for Life.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, Carnahan dropped out of the long-gestating sequel due to scheduling conflicts, but other reports cite the oh-so-common “creative differences.”
Carnahan, best known for directing The Grey and who is currently scripting the Uncharted movie, was attached to Bad Boys 3 since 2015. Since then, preproduction for the film has been pretty troublesome, as the film was delayed to November, 2018 from January, 2018, on top of a handful of prior delays as well.
As it stands, Bad Boys for Life is currently scheduled to begin production this fall. Who will direct Martin Lawrence and Will Smith though?
Perhaps our old pal Michael Bay?
Pray my friends, pray.
Bad Boys for Life (maybe) hits theaters on November 9, 2018.
