How many villains are in Justice League anyway?
Even with tweets from Zack Synder or videos from Ben Affleck, we still don’t know much about the hotly anticipated Justice League. Specifically, we’re not sure which DCEU villains will be in the film.
We’ve learned that the New God Steppenwolf will be the film’s main villain, but we’re not sure how Lex Luthor or Deathstroke fit into the film’s story. Additionally, rumors have recently been swirling around the web that Jared Leto’s Joker will also be in the film.
Well, that might not be the case anymore. Ace fanboy-scooper Umberto Gonzalez tweeted last week that the new Clown Prince of Crime probably won’t appear in Justice League.
Sorry DC fanboys. Yesterday's rumor that surfaced about Jared Leto being in JUSTICE LEAGUE? Unfortunately, not true. #DEADED

Obviously this is just a rumor, but we too don’t think Mr. J will show up in JL. Besides a number of remarks from Leto that suggest he’s not very happy with the final cut of Suicide Squad, having Joker alongside Steppenwolf, a powerful extraterrestrial being, would be a strange and disjointed combination. Remember the last time Joker was in the same movie as a supernatural villain?
Anyway, we’re sure there will be a lot more Joker in future entries of the DCEU, Justice League or not.
Justice League hits theaters on November 17, 2017.
