The upcoming Final Fantasy installment will have an available season pass allowing players to gain access to released downloadable content.
A current pre-order for Final Fantasy XV has the “Digital Premium Edition” in the Playstation Store for $84.99. And everyone asked themselves, “why the heck is this game $85?!” I’m here to tell you all that this edition has the added benefit of a Season Pass for the player. Along with the $85 option, users can now purchase a Season Pass Upgrade as well if they already purchased the normal pre-order edition.
During the E3 conference back in June, Final Fantasy XV’s director Hajime Tabata claimed that the games DLC’s were “pretty much finalized” including “additional story content, costumes, as well as things that don’t fall into those categories that fans will be excited to see.” Recent information from the Japanese Playstation Store displayed actual details of what the DLC’s titles were. The included DLC’s known to players are:
- “Booster Pack”
- “Episode Gladiolus”
- “Holiday Pack”
- “Episode Ignis”
- “Episode Prompto”
- “Expansion Pack”
Final Fantasy XV comes to the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One on September 30th.
