Warner Bros. has been kind enough to grace us with this first official image from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
From the looks of it, not much can be gathered about potential plot lines, it appears that Henry Cavill is still donning the same Superman costume from Man of Steel, and we can possibly conclude that this next film is going to be set during some depressing events. It’s also currently being speculated that Superman could be standing outside of our first glimpse at Zack Snyder’s Gotham City.
In other news, Snyder recently shed some light on why they opted for the “v” instead of “vs” in the title:
“to keep it from being a straight ‘versus’ movie, even in the most subtle way”
Quickly after this new image of Superman surfaced, a redditor put his photoshop skills to work and mashed it with the previously released first image of Ben Affleck’s Batman. Hilarity ensues.
