“Can’t think of any good movie ideas? Let’s just reboot every film ever made.” – Universal Pictures
[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]he Mummy returns and no, we aren’t talking about the sequel to the 1999 fantasy/action/horror film starring Brendan Fraser that was decent in the sense of action, comedy and plot. Thanks to ComingSoon.net we have a relative idea of what the rebooted The Mummy will look like and who is starring in the film. The photos from the set of The Mummy were released just before last night, you can check out the photos for yourself by clicking the link below.

While the first two Mummy films were a box office hit and a financial success the third film in the series, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, was a complete flop at the box office and with critics. Universal Studios must be very confident in the script for the rebooted The Mummy and having famous actors like Tom Cruise attached to the film. The filming is currently taking place in Oxford, England and while we aren’t certain as to why it is being filmed there, our best guess is that it has something to do with Annabelle Wallis’ (Peaky Blinders) character who is an archeologist and Tom Cruise’s ex-Navy SEAL character.
