[dropcap=small]B[/dropcap]atman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will get an R-Rating but it will only be available once the film is released on blu-ray. According to Film Ratings, the MPAA gave the blu-ray version of Batman v Superman an R-Rating. The rating was given for the film’s “sequences of violence.” The sequences were not cited for being overly bloody or gory so don’t expect Gladiator kinds of violence in the film. The theatrical film release will still be rated PG-13. The R-Rating can be seen as Zach Snyder’s director’s cut of the film.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice releases in theaters March 25.
