The Admiral will be back in action in time for the next episode!
[dropcap size=small]A[/dropcap]s we are 13 days away from the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, news of another cast member has arrived. Admiral Ackbar, who starred in the Return of the Jedi as the commander during the Battle of Yavin, will be in the next movie!
We already know that Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie, C-3PO and R2-D2 will be returning to the movie. It’s good to see old characters back in this movie. We won’t know what role he will play in the movie until the movie is released. One thing that we do know is that Admiral Ackbar dies of old age about 29-years after the Battle of Yavin, which is right around when Episode 7 takes place, at least according to the Old Expanded Universe.
