New Game of Thrones teaser gains some season 6 publicity, but displays no new content.
A new Game of Thrones teaser was released earlier today, and unfortunately, no real spoilers were revealed. I don’t know about other fans, but I wanted to know something about the new season, especially the fate of Jon Snow. However, HBO has pretty much given us little to no answers in this trailer. But it sure as hell got my adrenaline going.
The teaser had a voice over featuring Max Von Sydow, who will be playing the Three Eyed Raven, and a forgotten character in season 5, Bran Stark. Max Von Sydow voices over the trailer claiming that the past has already been written (amongst other philosophical Three Eyed Raven jargon) while displaying all of our favorite characters dying. The trailer ends with Bran claiming “they have no idea what’s going to happen” while displaying a close up of Jon Snow’s dead body. This, combined with the teaser poster of Jon Snow must mean that Jon Snow is coming back and I hope he’s coming back to help take over Westeros with a vengeance.
Nothing has been confirmed or denied publicly on what will happen in the upcoming season, and Martin has already claimed that the show will continue to deviate from the books. We will all just have to wait and see what season 6 has in store until April. Be sure to check out the trailer below.
