Come on and slam and welcome to the jam! Hopefully?
[dropcap size=small]L[/dropcap]eBron James is undoubtedly the biggest basketball star in the world, and just recently, his stardom has transitioned into Hollywood, with the release of Trainwreck. Perhaps we will soon be seeing many more films starring The King, and more importantly, a much-anticipated sequel.
Yesterday, James and his company SpringHill Entertainment announced a partnership with Warner Bros. that involves the production of projects for film, TV, and digital platforms.
The announcement was made by Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara, who explained that, “LeBron James has one of the most powerful, well-known brands in the world and we are excited to be in business with him and his partner, Maverick Carter, and SpringHill Entertainment.” Tsujihara continued to say, “the combination of LeBron’s global media presence and Warner Bros.’ unmatched production and distribution expertise is a big win for fans everywhere.”
While no projects resulting from this deal were announced, reporter Alex Weprin has made an interesting deduction on his twitter:

Hmm…Space Jam’s trademark is renewed, and LeBron is now partnering with Warner Bros., the owner of Space Jam…This can only mean one thing…
A Kazaam reboot! Just kidding, Space Jam 2!
That’s right, Space Jam, everyone’s favorite movie about the Looney Tunes playing basketball with the help of Michael Jordan against a team of aliens who want to enslave them for an outer space theme park, may finally be getting a sequel. Rejoice children of the 90’s, rejoice.
Again, nothing official has been announced, but it looks like the long-rumored sequel may finally be happening.
Someone at Warner Bros. better be getting a hold of Bill Murray, ASAP.
