X-Men: Apocalypse Has A Clean Cut Look For Professor X

Get ready for the Charles Xavier we all know and love, bald.

[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]hey say “Bald is beautiful,” so when X-Men: Days of Future Past was released, viewers were shocked to see Professor X (a.k.a. Wheels) whipping around a full head of ugly hair. Now I don’t know what age men start losing their hair but I would like to think by this stage of his life, we would have seen a little bit of a receding hairline, or maybe a small bald spot in the back. This wasn’t the only problem with Charles’s appearance, how about he is standing?! They end-up explaining why the Professor can walk due to some kind of intravenous drug that makes him walk but dulls his telekinetic powers, but what about the hair?

Well we won’t have to worry about those brown locks getting in the way of Brian Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse. The director posted a photo via his Instagram that show James McAvoy, who plays Professor Xavier getting not only his hair cut, but completely shaved. Early concept art has show that we might be seeing some 80’s hair from the leader of the X-Men, but by the end we will be wearing sunglass to block the shine coming off that dome.

All the main characters from the first two X-Men movies will return, but there are also some new faces with some familiar names that have joined the cast. Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner will play Jean Grey, Alexandra Shipp will portray Storm, Ben Hardy as Angel, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, and the very beautiful Olivia Munn as Psylocke to name a few.

X-Men: Apocalypse directed by Brian Singer and staring Jennifer Lawrence, Channing Tatum, Michael Fassbender, Hugh Jackman, Jame McAvoy, Sophie Turner, Alexandra Shipp, Ben Hardy, Tye Sheridan, and Olivia Munn will hit theaters May 27, 2016.
