Michael Finch, who wrote the screenplay for 2010’s Predators, is going to be replacing C. Robert Cargill and Scott Derrickson as the screenplay writer for the Deus Ex movie.
The Deus Ex film will be based on “Deus Ex: Human Revolution” which was released back in 2011. The movie will follow the game’s main character, a cybernetically and mechanically enhanced Adam Jensen, as he fights to uncover a “worldwide conspiracy”. As of now, there is no release date set for the film as it still needs a director and cast. As a big fan of the Deus Ex series, I’m hoping they can get this right and deliver an action packed film with a compelling story.
