Are you excited for March 3rd yet? You should be.

[dropcap size=small]F[/dropcap]inally, after months of rumors and hints, we have not only just a title for Hugh Jackman’s last movie as the tri-clawed mutant but a promo poster as well. The director of the film, James Mangold, tweeted the photo revealing that the title of the highly anticipated film is Logan. In addition to a finalized title, we also see what looks to be a child holding Logan’s hand. Could the poster be anymore enigmatic?

According to Hugh Jackman, Logan will be “very different in tone, and hopefully different to anything we’ve done before.” Considering the last photo we saw of Hugh Jackman while he was working on Logan showed the Australian actor showing off an impressive beard and gray hair you can be sure that Logan will be very different compared to previous movies. Sir Patrick Stewart also claims that his character Professor Xavier will be quite different than the one we are used to.

The most exciting theory among fans for Hugh Jackman’s last film as the Wolverine is that X-23, a female clone that was created from a damaged genetic material that came from Weapon X (Wolverine), will be introduced as the next mutant to take on the title of Wolverine. Unlike Wolverine, however, X-23 only has two retractable claws in her knuckles and a single retractable claw that is located in each of her feet. She also has super speed, strength and accelerated healing.

Regardless of whether or not the fan theory of X-23 is correct, we can be sure that Hugh Jackman’s last film as the Wolverine will do both the actor and his character justice.

Logan hits theaters on March 3rd2017.
