Deadshot and Batman teamed up in this year’s Arkham Knight comics so why not make a movie out of it?
[dropcap size=small]W[/dropcap]ith Will Smith agreeing to appear as Deadshot across multiple films due to his contract, it isn’t too far-fetched to believe that he could star alongside Ben Affleck in his own film. No one knows exactly how the film would work, but it could be a prequel to the events of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad.
The news comes from Latino Review‘s sources who claim that “Will Smith may join Ben Affleck in his solo Batman movie, which might not end up being so solo.” However, “Nothing’s locked down completely, but most of the involved parties seem enthusiastic,” claims the Latino Review.
We already know that Ben Affleck wishes to direct the film himself and he would star in the film, so is it possible that it was Ben’s idea first? Rumors point towards the possibility that the film will follow the events of the comics A Death in the Family and Under the Hood.
