Will Matt Ryan’s Constantine Join ‘Legends of Tomorrow’?

A certain demon hunter could be coming back to TV.

It looks like Hellblazer may return to The CW’s DC universe.

Bleeding Cool reports that the upcoming Legends of Tomorrow will feature a rotating cast of characters each season (similar Justice League Unlimited), and during the second season of the show, Matt Ryan’s Constantine will be a regular member of the cast.

Ryan first portrayed Hellblazer in Constantine, which was canceled after one season last year on NBC, despite praise for Ryan’s take on the titular character.

However, Ryan reprised the role earlier this year during the fourth season of Arrow in the episode “Haunted.”

This appearance lead to huge speculation that Constantine will appear in more CW DC programs, which now is looking like a reality.

For those who don’t know, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is an upcoming spin-off set in the same universe as The CW’s The Flash and Arrow.

The series will focus on a new team of heroes and villains from both shows, including The Atom (Brandon Routh), Sara Lance (Caity Lotz), as well as Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), among others.

While nothing has been officially confirmed, we’re excited to see Constantine return to television yet again.

Will this lead to the revival of a standalone Constantine show? We hope so.

Legends of Tomorrow premieres January 21, 2016 on The CW.
