Microsoft confirmed today that a long rumored white Xbox One is finally making its way to market. Originally leaked by French retailer Micromania in a since removed listing, a spokesperson confirmed to Polygon that there would indeed be a white console shipping in a bundle with this fall’s Sunset Overdrive at a price of $399.
There’s no official release date yet, but Sunset Overdrive hits on October 28th so expect to have your hands on a white Xbox One sometime around then. Sony is ready to release their white Playstation 4 alongside Destiny, with plans to sell the console as a standalone SKU in the future. Time will tell if Microsoft will do the same with the white Xbox One.
