Tom Holland wasn’t too thrilled the first time he put on the suit.
[dropcap size=small]Y[/dropcap]ou would think that the first time you put on a legitimate superhero suit of any kind, regardless of who’s it is, you would be absolutely awestruck, right? Apparently not, at least if you’re Tom Holland. The nineteen-year-old actor was recently interviewed at the red carpet premiere of Captain American: Civil War for the film’s release in the United Kingdom and Ireland and the actor was allegedly not satisfied with his first time experience in the Spider-man costume.
Tom Holland confessed during the interview that he was less than pleased with the suit when he first put it on saying:
“Sadly, I have to say it was a little disappointing. My stunt double at the time was a little taller than I am, and I had to wear his suit because they didn’t have one for me! So it was kind of baggy the first time I tried it on, and it wasn’t as cool as I hoped!”
The actor quickly complimented Marvel on the work they put into his own personal Spider-Man suit once it had been properly made to fit his size, calling his suit “incredible” and “amazing”. Good save there Tom, don’t want to be on Marvel’s bad side.
Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will appear in Captain America: Civil War, in theaters May 6th.
