Lilly stings us with a Wasp suit tease.
[dropcap size=small]M[/dropcap]arvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp is just about to start production, and excitement levels have reached an all-time high for the Wasp herself, Evangeline Lilly.
Taking to Twitter to express her excitement (via Heroic Hollywood), Lilly revealed that she has had a fitting for her role as the Wasp, and teased us with an artist’s rendering of the suit:
Had a fitting for my #Wasp costume last week. Am I the only one getting excited????? #eee #antmanandthewasp #marvel @marvel pic.twitter.com/YafBFFznGS

You’re definitely not the only one getting excited, Evangeline!
Lilly will be reprising her role as Hope Van Dyne, who will be debuting her alter ego self as The Wasp for the first time in the Ant-Man sequel planned for release next year.
We’ve already seen a glimpse of the suit thanks to an Ant-Man after credits scene, which saw Hank Pym take Hope to see an “advanced prototype” he worked on with Hope’s mother, Janet. Of course, since it’s unfinished at that point, it’s going to look pretty different in the sequel.

We already know Hope can pack a good punch, and we can’t wait to see her badass self in the Wasp suit when she reunites with Paul Rudd and the gang next year.
Ant-Man and the Wasp is set to hit the big screens 6 July 2018.
